Réseau Européen de la Microfinance - Accueil

Le Réseau Européen de la Microfinance (REM) a été créé en avril 2003 avec le soutien financier de l'Union Européenne et de la Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC). Ses membres fondateurs sont en France l'Adie (Association pour le droit à l'initiative économique), au Royaume Uni la nef (new economics foundation) et en Allemagne EVERS&JUNG. Le REM a le statut d'association loi 1901 et a été officiellement enregistré à la préfecture de Paris le 23 mai 2003. L'objectif visé est de promouvoir la microfinance dans l’Union Européenne en tant qu’outil de lutte contre le chômage et l’exclusion sociale par le biais de la création de microentreprises. Le REM a des membres fondateurs, et aussi des membres adhérents, des membres associés et des membres corporate. Tous sont des organisations intéressées par les enjeux de la microfinance sur le continent.

CERMi (Centre Européen de Recherche en Microfinance / Center for European Research in Microfinance), draws together researchers, involved in microfinance activities in developing countries, from the Centre Emile Bernheim (Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, Université Libre de Bruxelles) and from the Research Centre Warocqué (Université de Mons). The CERMi also collabores with the European Microfinance Programme.
